About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to guide Agile teams in delivering high-quality products and solutions. As a servant-leader, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement across one or more Scrum teams. You will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and delivery in line with Agile principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives).
Coach team members on Agile best practices and the Scrum framework.
Shield the team from external interruptions and distractions to ensure focus on sprint goals.
Support the Product Owner with backlog management, refinement, and user story prioritization.
Identify, track, and help remove obstacles that impede the team’s progress.
Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment.
Monitor sprint progress using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
Report on key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, cycle time) to drive transparency and improvements.
Promote Agile culture throughout the organization through coaching and workshops.
Facilitate communication and alignment between development teams and business stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, especially Scrum and Kanban.
Experience using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello, Rally, Azure DevOps).
Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
Proven ability to work with distributed and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification.
Knowledge of SAFe, LeSS, or other scaled Agile frameworks.
Background in software development, QA, or project management is a plus.
Experience in CI/CD, DevOps culture, or Agile transformation initiatives is a bonus.
